Chick is still in critical condition, but has made positive steps. Doctors say he will be at Crozer-Chester for at least 2 months.
Janet would like to thank everyone for your prayers and asks you to continue praying. We will keep you posted. Carol |

On Monday, Chick went through his second skin grafting surgery. So far, all is well. He is still considered critical but is making small progress everyday.
Will keep you all updated. |

Latest update;
With doctors planning on waking Chick up within the next week, to everyones surprise, he woke up on his own Saturday morning. Chick was able to spend two hours sitting in a chair talking with his wife Janet. While he is still facing a long recovery, doctors are very encouraged with his progress. Janet would again like me to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. |

Great News !!!!
I spoke with Chick yesterday and he is going home on Friday. He is wire and tube free and looking forward to leaving. He will be in rehab at home as an outpatient; they expect his rehab will take 4-5 months. As soon as they allow him to drive, Chick and Janet will be joining us at the racetrack. Chick and Janet would again like to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers !!! Carol |
