Default Moby Vic!!!!

Coming next season to a dragstrip near Div.1! The great, white whale of a car will be crushing concrete starting lines and causing fear in the shut-down area as it attempts to go rounds and crush the competition! 75 FFFFord LTD, 460/300 and P/SA at a VERY whale like 4970!

My Dad had a 69, a 72, a 75 and 78 LTD,s. I know the last two had 400M motors. Can't remember what the 69 or the 72 had. They let me drive the 72 to the prom. Back then didn't think of these beasts as potential race cars. Back then we laughed at the Mustang II's as well. Now I own one of those!

With the 460, even with the weight, this thing ought to make some torque. I have an 89 Buick Estate 9 passenger wagon with a 307 Olds carb motor, that I acquired thru a trade. It's not in the guide. Told the wife if it isn't gone by next spring. I'm gonna give it an oil and tranny oil and filter change and haul it to the local track.

Nah, you work with FFFords for a bit, the "F" word will flow quite naturally. To quote Mark, "make sure" you have the proper Ford tool handy.

Talking Re: Moby Vic!!!!

This is, by far, the most exciting build on the entire page. Back in the day, we ran a 460 powered mid 70 s Lincoln Town Car at Palmdale where are typical da was between 5000 and 6000 feet. With a 430 gear and 26 inch Caldwell's, the car ran 14.50 s all day long. Sounds like a very cool bracket car..........I mean stocker.
