Maybe the holes are still there, mine were. it they were filled you probably should be able to see where they were from inside.

re cooling one of these huge hemis...one of my local speedshop owners/racer has been talking about this race coolant that has a much higher boiling point so if your motor gets hot it won't produce those lethal steam pockets near as soon. just in case you get hot.

Thank you for that info! I will monitor things closely, and if it looks like I need to, I won’t hesitate to upgrade. We did have the radiator freshly rebuilt; one more thing I was hoping to keep looking original, but not at the expense of my new engine!

Miy side was for sure. I think I told Don to open his.
It pretty much stays open all summer. All that excessive Hemi heat that waafts into the interior...
