Update... Pan and front cover on...cam in @ 104.5... Heads are done, staying in the house until i put them on... it was -16* today... I have junk heads on it, to keep cylinders clean and rust free... Next is rockers and pushrods...and then we can prime it! Dont know if INdy in April is a possibility... Too much $ and not enough time... Im thinkin that Joliet in June is a better , more attainable goal... unless i fall into a boat load of $... No sense in rushing it...

The alternator bracket attaches to it... I turn the alt upside down...Smog belt for '85 olds v6..

Thanks! It works well...doesnt give alot of room behind the Alt, but ive never had a problem... My '62 has same setup on it... and i have a few running around out there, as well... I have a few alum blocks in the cabinet...

Got the new heads on it, last weekend... I figured out what pushrods i needed, and should have them tomorrow... Once valvetrain is set, i can prime it, and its ready to install... Intake is not bolted on yet, as valley pan isnt either. Gettin closer! Converter is at ATi... should get it back anytime
