Default Oil pan for 3rd gen f body SBC

What oil pan fits a 3rd gen F body with an early, L side dipstick, small block? Looking for a larger capacity than stock and have a factory K member. Like to find one with the windage tray built in the pan.

I got one from Competition Products awhile back, 7qt. It fits with the stock K-member. $130 maybe.

I have a Moroso 21017 on mine. Called 7 qts. Clears my Stock K member. The sticker on the box says "pre 1980 blocks".

That appears to be the one. It's in my 1983 Camaro right now on a 385. Moroso makes one specific to these cars. I thought the Comp Products one was a good deal for the money but never seen any testing to see how well they work. Think it was $129.99 when I bought it.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. Lots of R&D in the Moroso pans.

True. For my application if the car runs 12.50 or 12.10 it still fits in the foot brake bracket. But yes the Moroso pan would make more HP on a given combo. At least that's what we would think, never know until it's tested and verified.

I used a Milodon, but not thrilled with the kickouts on the sump and full length headers.
What other pans will fit? The competition products one measures 10.5" long at the sump, will tat fit the factory K member? Hamburgers is the same. I called Stef;s and they said their B&B 91088 was to deep at the front and it would hit the K member.

That Moroso is nice, just a little pricey.

The Competition Products one fit on my 83' Camaro. I bought the Moroso one for the 360 we just built. Moroso pan, pickup, rear baffle, and Schumann pump.

Brian,
Is your Comp Products pan 10.5" long in the sump? How close is it to the crossmember?
