Re: "Stockest" looking Stockers!
Beautiful cars each and every one, but let play the grinch here.
Fans think they are looking at a show car instead of a race car. If we are going to sell Stock Eliminator, race cars need to look like race cars. Check this thread of 479 pages. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...-stock.201085/ Just my humble opinion. Pete |

With all due respect to my friend Denny Ford here, his beautiful 62 doesn't look much like a race car to me...Not like this one:

Re: "Stockest" looking Stockers!
Mark, you just need to see a good wheels-up video with the sound cranked way up.

Re: "Stockest" looking Stockers!
I believe that you will find that when alot of us grew up, many of these cars roamed the streets. So that seeing a lettered up race car would catch our attension. Now for the younger generation seeing a clean looking muscle car at the track that they would rarely see on the street is a treat. Moreso than one covered in decals.

Re: "Stockest" looking Stockers!
I partnered on this with Mike Smith for a few years in the 90's. It was just finished in this shot. We did "sticker it up". I liked it better plain.
