Car Classification Question, Possible Mistake
Can somebody please tell me how a 2009 Challenger with a Drag Pak hood and a 345 cube engine be classed as FS/G ? Car #3695 at Indy this weekend. Didn't this same driver beat up on the 345 cube Drag Pak engine not that long ago for no good reason and get the combo refactored a bunch?

Re: Car Classification Question, Possible Mistake
Luke and his brother used to run a stickshift. If that is still the case, that is your answer. I think they got some power back when the car was lumped into the traditional classes. They didn't even scratch the surface on HP. Compare it to the automatic hp factor. So John, you have no worries if you keep a stick in the car.... for now.
Try looking on Dwight Southerlands site or the NHRA competition link above for more detail.
