Christmas miracle early
On Monday Dec. 3rd my wife and I met with her doctor to discuss her test that had been done on her back. The diagnosis was that the cancer had returned and was bigger than ever. We were told that a different medication was going to be needed and, if that didn't work, radiation was going to be started very soon. The medication was started that day. I started praying, sometimes three times a day. On Friday Dec. 7th, an MRI was done and we waited for the results. On Wednesday Dec. 12th my wife was told the results by phone and shared them with me. The medication is working better than thought and the cancer is already SHRINKING. Who says prayers don't work???? It isn't gone yet, but this is about as good of news as possible. Yes, I am still praying, but half of them are THANK YOUS to God. I hope all of you have as great a Christmas as we are going to have.

Re: Christmas miracle early
For those who responded, God Bless You. Many have viewed this thread and didn't respond, sometimes just viewing/knowing is all that can be done. Words are sometimes hard to express. So, to all that at least viewed this thread, THANK YOU ALSO. I would never wish cancer on anyone, even those I don't get along with. I have seen people go from overly active to bed-ridden in weeks. Unless you have been through it yourself or know someone that has, it's hard to explain the emotions that are present during these times. Again, God Bless those that responded and , YES, we are very thankful and will have a very wonderful Christmas.
