Re: vega steering box
I have used two OEM Vega boxes in Monte's. One BBC 1780 front weight and one SBC 1580 front weight. Both still turning today.

Re: vega steering box
I have been running one on my 1968 Camaro for the past 6-7 years. Works nice. gives a bit more header room and a little lighter. I used the standard pitman arm that came with the box and adapted it to work with the stock drag link. My car is a Super Stock car.
