Default Contengency Payments

If any of you have an issue with a sponsor not paying or just trying to make it as hard as they can for you to get paid then here's the man that takes care of that. His name is Charlie Neilson and his email is cneilson@nhra.com I spoke with him at length about a letter I had recieved and he is a very nice man. He assured me that he would do everything in his power to help us so give him a try. He plans to make the process more streamlined next year.

I have just sent Charlie an email.
My paperwork from NHRA had a letter from him but I had not yet called or emailed him. Your note here reminded me I should do that.
I am waiting on payments from Aeroquip and CSR from May of 2009.
I could not find a number to call or contact Aeroquip. I am sure Charlie can help with that.
The CSR issue is a whole other problem. My engine supplier told me CSR would not even pay him a contingency so that one may be a lost cause.
Thanks for the post as it was a reminder it has been almost a year now of waiting.

The Aeroqip thing is kind of goofy, they have an agreement with another company to pay their contigency in exchange, Areoquip buys that much product from them. I went through this last year. Once I got ahold of the right person they were very friendly and paid me right away. I'll go through my papers and try and find a contact for you.

I talked to the CV Products guys at the Memphis National in the midway about what the check was for I received from them. The check had nothing other than the event it was for. No Manufacturer. The two I was lacking at that time other than the CSR, was Aeroquip and PSI Valve Springs. The guys there in Memphis said it would have to be PSI as they did not represent Aeroquip but they did have and sell PSI valve springs.
I thanked them for the check and visited for a few minutes and left.
This makes me wonder now.
Maybe I should make a call now that you gave me a number and clarify the situation.
I could be lacking the PSI Valve Springs instead of the Aeroquip.
Thanks for the info.

CSR will not pay unless you register your product . They give you a card with your parts . Call Lindsey at CSR .....

Both my CSR products are registered and I have not heard from them.
I will call now and see what happens.
Other friends and my engine supplier Sunset Racecraft tells me they can not get anything out of CSR.
I will make calls.
Thanks

I found the contact people at CV Products. Ryan White or Melissa Hegler 800-448-1223. I had talked to Melissa and she was very helpful.

Started calling this morning.
Left messages with Lindsey at CSR and Melissa at CV Products neither was in the office today.
With CV Products it was hard to find anyone who knew who took care of Contingencies.
No Return Calls Yet.
I will wait and see.
