Makes perfect sense but.... That would have required additional wages be paid to the parking staff to do so. NOT in the NHRA budget. Good Luck everyone!

Please everyone, make the best of the situation. Visit with friends, and give help to someone that needs it setting up.

The weather is what it is and can't be changed. I know it isn't fun, but it could be much worse.

Be thankful that you are there and enjoy the event as much as possible.

Think of the racers that we have lost this past year and those in poor health and can't be there. How would they handle this weather problem?? Thank you for your time.

THIS!!!!

A bad day at the races is better then a good day in the ICU, nursing home, etc.

Chin up guys. You are literally living the dream of so many racers right now. Enjoy it. These moments don't last forever.

I just hope to one day even own my own drag car, let alone race in something as difficult and challenging as Stock/SS, let alone at THE BIG GO.

Soak it up. It very well could be your last, whether you choose it or not.

Just think if NHRA had no limit of entries in s/as. The mess of another 100 cars trying to park and race in time. Looks like limiting isn't such a bad idea.

I made a lap around the entire premises and it does not look good getting everyone in and parked too soon.
Biggest problem is the wet ground. Everyone trying not to get stuck or pit in water/mud and it is just taking an extremely long time for each rig to get in and pitted.

I think if you asked the racers that couldn't get in because of the lower quota, nobody would be saying " glad I couldn't get in "

I asked myself the same question as I'm only .4 under and no grade points. I want to race the event really bad, but the hell to get entered and get on property just doesn't seem like fun. Just me with 1opinion. If they opened to all run it would the biggest cluster a man could make.
