I would like a new set of heads for it. after it shifts I think I could get out and run faster. but it runs the number all day long cutting a light is the only problem with the car.

It will feel faster with the 3 speed, even if it isn't.
I think it needs more gear, either way.
7500 in the lights doesn't seem that high with all the stuff you can use today.
Your car runs good for your combo..
What kind of altitude and air up there when you run it?
