Default 273 Mopar heads, stock or Eddy?

Hi folks, I'm collecting parts for a 273/235hp J/K/L Stock class Valiant and would like to know if I should stock up on factory heads or are the Edelbrock's the way to go? I have access to the factory heads but I hate to spend the money if they won't be used. Thanks!

The 4323302 was said to be a good choice at one time.

If you can find the edelbrock heads they would be fine. I have been looking and not seen a set in over 2 years. The bill to make them work might knock you off your chair. I have a set it and nothing even comes close to working.

The iron heads made great power. No need to spend prohibitive money trying to make the aluminum heads work.

Suggest you contact Bill Bushmaker, Angela’s Valiant was always FAST with that combination

I have several dozen different number 273 Heads.
They are not expensive or hard to find!
