Black Magic Defiant clutch?

Anyone running one of the Black Magic Defiant (or the Ram equivalent) ? Is it that much more durable than the old Softlok?

Lots of class racers run the Next Gen or newer Defiant. They're are a nicer piece than the Hays and Cales support is also great.
