Have a guy new to racing SS.
Bought a car recently. Hasn't made the transition from brackets to SS/GT yet Has a SS GT/JA 1989 240 HP 350 E-heads 2000 Grand Am That 240 HP 350 FI combo is being dropped by NHRA Jan 1 2023 What does he change in the combo? He is on a budget and wants to make an economical change IE: Use as much of his combo as possible for a new combo Give him your thoughts

It's still in the guide as corvette app. 240 Aluminum head - only in vette after this year.. 230 steel head. 350/240/285 for GT use only. Cant run in camaro as traditional ss or stk after this year. Can in vette. If steel head its a 230 rating and can stay where its at.

He was running it in a 2000 Pontiac Grand am in GT/JA
looks like the E-heads have been dropped out of most GT classes I have looked at. Stock and SS classes are not what he runs.

Adger, all that he has to do is CLAIM it (the engine combo) as a 1989 Corvette 350/240! Nothing else changes.
