Default Stock eliminator front suspension question

I was watching the fox broadcast Sunday of the final round in stock eliminator and noticed the mustang in the left lane right before the 1/8 mile transition bump the front suspension dropped down right before the bump. My question is our you allowed to have front struts that our on a timer to dump air out of the struts to soften the suspension after a leaving the starting line. I thought only pro stock and pro mod were allowed to have timed shocks. Watch the final round in stock from the fox broadcast and see what you think.
