Default Dragway 42 races to be 1/8 mile NOT 1/4 mile.

OK Here's the deal. The GLPTA races scheduled at Dragway 42 are listed as 1/4 mile races. The track tells me that the shutdown area is as long as Norwalk, BUT you may have to use the chute to make the turnoff. This would mean packing the chute after every run. We do not want to create an unsafe situation for any competitor, nor do we want to make more work for the teams competing. The Western New York Super Rod Association elected to run their races there at 1/8 mile. Therefore it is the decision of the Great Lakes Pro Tree Association that these 2 races will be contested on the 1/8 mile track. I know this will not be popular with some of you but in our opinion it will be in the best interest of all involved. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. As always your opinions are welcomed and we appreciate your support.
