Pure Stock ET Mph
November 2018 Mason Dixon S/SS Race; best 12.58 107
Ran heavy near full tank at 4150 lbs March 2019 ECIRS Meet ran best 12.470 at 106.73 There was a little more left could have hit 12.45... Weight around 4150 lb...had to add 5 gallons C9 That is 1.28 under the F/PS index of 13.75. Going to add Roll Bar, 5.13 gears. Rear gets C-Clip’s eliminated. Remove mufflers, should run closer to K/SA index in heat. Ran a lot of 12.85’s, managed a 12.72 at Atco on a good Summer day. Figure a tenth in block with a Index crank, upgraded rods and pistons. Figure a bit more with an proper 8 inch converter.. Corbitt Marshburn’s got his 96 Impala SS in F/PS trim to 12.39. To go quicker would have to REM and Micro Coat all the bearings. Be interesting to see how far the car will go with the Bullet Blueprint Cam. Adding the Stocker cam will be interesting. All that is need is time to get this stuff done..
