Re: 4th of July....
Had a great evening Thursday listening to he Jazz Ambassadors of the US ARMY Field Band.
During the performance which was downright excellent, they went through the various armed forces, asking those who served to stand. It was very moving to see them stand and be applauded. One gentleman who was apparently a WW II veteran of the Army, had come in a wheelchair. During the recognition for the US Army, he was helped to his feet, and this great soldier from the greatest generation stood tall at salute until the applause had finally quieted down. Then he dropped back into his wheelchair smiling at a young lady I would guess was his granddaughter who was with him. It brought tear to my eyes, and reminded me again of the many who will never hear the applause, or again salute the flag, but whose sacrifices have given us the greatest country in the world. A country, and a way of life worth pride, and worth defending. GOD BLESS AMERICA! David The New Hemi Guy |

Happy 4th of July. My flags are always flying of our great country and our MIA/POW's.
I will visit Pinelawn National Cemetary and thank those who no longer get to salute. Thank you to all our Veterans here. Chris. God Bless America |
