C-4 trans brake?
Anyone have info on Trans-king Band adjustments? Mine has decided to roll on apply. Was hoping to make another race before pulling it. (Much easier in the garage with a beer than in the dirt)
Thanks |

Re: C-4 trans brake?
Hey Mike, since nobody else has answered. Nope don't know anything about adjusting Trans King band. Is Trans King valve body similar to the PA/Hughes trans brake?
We have have a Hughes trans brake in a mustang that we bracket race and if the solenoid gets just a little C4 junk in it will roll. We modified a Chrysler fiber filter to fit the C4 valve body and so far have not had any more problems. Good Luck

Pat
Thanks for the reply. I talked to Trans King today. They are very helpful! They think that the reverse band or drum has become glased over time. I am going to check that when I get to Memphis. |
