Driver might have slightly turned the wheel to the right. Was trying to judge the rear wheels off of the break in the asphalt. Pictures can be deceiving.

Question Re: Whats wrong with this picture??

Eric, did you change rear tires recently? If you did, was there any difference in roll out. Also the same thing with the bars. Have you changed anything, setting wise, or removed weight? I took some weight out of my car once, thought that since I only took out a smal amound of weight that I did not need to re-adjust my bars. I did after my first run. Just a thought. I take that this problem has happened on several occasions?

The only thing I did was rotate the rear slicks, The slicks have probably 50 passes on them, and car went straight before rotating the tires, I am gonna put them back and see if that fixes it it just makes it a hand full. Roll Out on the tires were 93-3/4 marked on both. I guess that doesnt mean they were something different.

It's probably the shift light. (J/K! Couldn't help it)

Check shocks, and try rotating the tires back.

It'd help if the starting line wasn't littered with ROCKS. That's absolutely ridiculous for a so-called national event track, or any track for that matter. Always check your wheel wells and rocker panels for sand or rocks. I've seen *tons* of photos of cars with the wheels up, and a stream of junk pouring out of the rocker panel right in front of the tires.

Just my 2 cents but it appears you are using a slide a link or whatever Comp calls them and not a Caltracs bar. Could there be some deflection in that type of bar versus the Caltracs one piece bar?

My AMX got parked because it was getting worse at pulling left. Looking at the top of a guardrail is too exciting for me. I checked and tuned EVERYTHING. In the end? The driver side floor had pushed from the rocker panel. Always have had a CM roll-bar then when I went from Stock to SS I converted to a cage. I should have had a rocker bar from day one and I wouldn't have a problem. Another lesson learned.
There was some rust at the rear (front) seat mounting area. That's were it was weak.
So amongst other things getting done to the car, it's getting new floors.

If it was not doing it before indy I would try it somewhere else before making big changes. I was up there myself and while the track prep crew was trying thier best the rocks and other debris were everywhere on the track at times. Before my burnout second run of friday they shut me off to clean the track because the rocks were so bad.
