Exclamation Re: Carpet Suggestions

if you are using it in an automotive application ---go to a full service auto upholstery shop and ask about Aircraft carpeting ---if you do put it in make sure you hem the edges and put edging on it otherwise the stuff will come apart/fray REAL easily---this stuff is so thin you can see thru it no problems at all and probably weighs 1/4 of what regular auto carpeting does---any other ??? get back to me--comp387

You can order a custom molded light weight carpet from Auto Custom Carpets (ACC), I think they are in Georgia somewhere. They will mold it without any of the backing or sound deadening materials. I saved around 20 pounds.
