Default Muffler Hangers

I have an "old" Super Stock Car that I am just finishing up for ET Racing (1970 442) and have a question about Exhaust Hangers for the Mufflers, etc. I'd really appreciate some comments from the experts on this site, as I know you guys really "know your stuff" and I could get some good, tested/valid ideas here.....I'd really appreciate your help.

Shown is a Photo of my Set Up with Flowmaster Delta Force Race Mufflers (9" wide x 6.5" front to back x 4" vertical height), Short Section of SS 3.5" Piping and 3.5" Turndown. I'll also be using a SS V-Band Clamp just after the Collector, so if I want to switch to fully "open" Headers, it will be a "quick" change out.

I wanted to get some opinions on the "best way" to mount Exhaust Hangers for the Mufflers and piping, as needed (i.e., Do I go with 1 mount at the Rear of the Muffler only, or a mount before and after the Muffler...and then should I use some type of "flexible rubber??" or Solid (rigid) mounting Cushion or ???). I'm not looking for a "cheap/light" System to hold the exhaust System that will "fall apart" or pick components that might not be the most reliable way to go..... Just want to do it "right."

I'd really appreciate any design comments and / or Part recommendations.

Thanks.

Harold

I always ran mufflers on my Chevelle, using OEM style muffler hangers https://www.opgi.com/exhaust/exhaust...y-ch28590.html at the rear of the mufflers, suspended from the stock location in the crossmember above. Throughout the years it had a 3” X and H pipe as well a 3 1/2” H pipe system with dumps.
