Orlando LODRS Feb 1/2

Presumably the Test and Tune is on Thursday.... Sure the D2 office will be putting out more info when possible; always a crunch getting contingency sponsors nailed down for the Divisionals, and since we're always first out of the gate and the "home" office is preoccupied with Pomona (I'll leave it at that) some of the info may lag. Hoping for a good turnout, even if some of the event spills over to Sunday because of it. FYI; SGMP holding a test and tune day the 19th, 20th and 27th.

Re: Orlando LODRS Feb 1/2
I will never understand why a crew member pays more than a spectator at many of the LODRS races.

Re: Orlando LODRS Feb 1/2
Because racers & crew have become the profit center, not Spectators.
Have to spend money to promote races to get spectators. Just open the gates and racers will come.

Re: Orlando LODRS Feb 1/2
Me neither Ken....at Orlando, a FAN pays 40 bucks for a 2 day pass while a CREW member pays 60 bucks for the same 2 day pass....2 DAYS ....!!!...
Looks as though some of these tracks are pricing themselves out of spectators,,,,ask the NCAA and college basketball how exorbitant ticket prices are working out for them....Some fans have had ENOUGH..... |

Re: Orlando LODRS Feb 1/2
The fan has a choice to come to the races or not. For the most part, the crew members are part of the cost of going racing and an extra $20 there isn't going to stop us.
Not that I endorse this thinking!
