Throttle stops brands
Looking to up date my old spring closed air open leakage style. Thinking about an under the carb air on air off unit. I have a couple questions, with a 2"spacer on to check clearance the hood clearance to the bowl vents look close, how much clearance do you need for them? What brand of under carb or leakage style stops is everyone using. Thanks for the help Robbie

Re: Throttle stops brands
i took the vents out of the dodge because they almost hit the hood, so i cut about an 1/2-1'" off replaced and used a peice of clear hose and cut a slice out of the center, clears fine and works great...

Re: Throttle stops brands
Air 1 Stop only way to go. They make an electric but you can't adj. the closing & opening rate.

Re: Throttle stops brands
#1 stops only way to go. Currently own 3. Two for 4500, one for 4150.
Does that count as 3 more votes ? |

Re: Throttle stops brands
Thanks for all the replys. Any body else? It looks like under the carb is the hot lick now? How close can the bowel vents be to the hood. With a 2" spacer mine are about a 1/4 " from the hood.
