Default Hooker #2241, BBC in G-body

Does anyone have experience with these headers? I know that they're only 2" tubes so maybe that would preclude most of you from having used them. What I'm wondering about is any difficulty installing them, and how much spark plug clearance? My heads have the exhaust ports raised .600", if that has any major impact on fitment. Thanks for any tips.

you should not have any trouble. I have tons of plug room. Starter has room to come out..The only thing thats weird is the tube that wraps the steering shaft..make sure the brake lines are at a safe distance. Raised ports on mine as well.

Robert, thanks for the reply. I'm pretty used to the #7 tube over the steering with my Stahl's for the small block. Those two bolts are kind of a pisser. I guess I'll give the Hooker's a try. Thank's again.
BTW, what springs did you use in the front?
