Default SBC, oil pan discussion to fit factory crossmember

because of the oil pan design constraints caused by factory chassis, thus requiring about half of the pan to be relatively close to the rotating assembly, it there any real, measurable gains available among the shelf oil pans on the market?

Even more specific, are the side kick out pans designed for a factory chassis really worth any gain?

When scanning the manufacturer options, most of the chassis type pans have about the same design, mostly are modified OE pan cores.

Let me hear about your experience and thoughts on this subject.

Thanks
