Default Live from Jegs Cajun Sportsnationals-Belle Rose

We left Gainesville this morning around 8:15 and just crossed into Mississippi on our way to Louisiana! It has been pretty uneventful except for getting backed up in Mobile, AL. As we went across Mobile Bay, we could see a big battleship in the bay. Also the Carnival ship Triumph was there also. We had been planning a cruise on a Carnival ship this summer, but after that fiasco and another Carnival ship having problems this week, I think we are going to re-think that trip!

For those of you who are coming from Gainesville, there is a good place to dump your tanks at the first rest area in MS. Easy to get to and water to wash your hose. There is not drinking water though.

I haven't talked to anyone who has arrived at the track yet. If they are letting us in, please post and let us know. I think we are going on over to Jimmy Hiidalgo's tonight and then on to the track tomorrow.

Well, a couple of weeks ago we didn 't have an engine ready. Thanks to my brother Joe, Bob Gipson, Willie Devore and American Speed not to mention rob Turkal, we are loaded up with a fresh bullet and getting ready to head to No Problem!
Looking forward to having some fun again at the Cajuns!

Patsy I have 2 words for you "Royal Caribbean".
Try it you will like it. And you can get almost the same prices as carnival.

hate to say we will be no shows down there as Rich's girlfriend has became real sick in florida and he flew back down to be with her. I'm taking the wife to a concert on Sat night seeing Phil Dirt & dozers (Beach Boys type band) and a beach party where we are going.
Good luck to everybody and I'm getting a lot better, but still a few problems here and their but ready to get to a track soon.

Well we are parked at Jimmy's shop in Donaldsonville. And look what he cooked for supper:

Talk about GOOD!!! Crawfish, corn, potatoes and onions. Everything dumped out on newspapers and then you clean up! Just pick up the stuff that wasn't eaten and roll up the papers and throw away!

We have a few things to get done tomorrow, then we will be out to the track.

More later!
