Default oil pumps

is there any horse power difference between a stock type pump, a external pump, or in pan billet pump, as far as turning it goes?

i can't give you any exact numbers but on an external belt driven , just lowering the oil pressure makes a noticable difference when priming it with a drill.

Hi Randy,

I also run a SS/CS Small Block Chevy and I use a external belt driven Razor Combination oil pump/vacuum pump unit. It has adjustable oil pressure springs, is compact and trouble free over the past 3 years.
