The one on the right is a solid roller lifter , I think to run a tie bar style lifter in a late model LT1 block you need to have the .300" tall solid roller lifters .

On my LT-1 Stocker, I used Bullet short travel hydraulic rollers with the tie bars and recall those lifters could not be installed or removed with the head on...….

They were to tall and hit the head before they cleared the lifter bores

I Never had a reason to remove them so it was not a problem.....

That sounds like my Isky Red Zones. Like the shorter pushrods they need.
I am amazed solid lifters are now allowed in Stockers that didn't come with them.
Been too long since I ran Stock. I find how fast they are now very impressive.
