St. Thomas Dragway Results June 6/7

There were a lot of reasons to be satisfied with the past weekend, not the least of which was some of the nicest weather conditions for racing in recent memory!! A small group of the Can Am faithful had some 1/8th mile fun at St.Thomas Dragway, sampling the fresh asphalt surface and NOT sampling the new concrete barriers!

Everything looks terrific and thanks to Paul Spriet and crew, we were SAFE!!

Dave Turner's Mustang was fortunate to hang on by .0011 in Saturday's final vs. Ron Gallagher in his nasty Hemi Road Runner. In the Sunday event, Doug Box prevailed over Tony Valerio in a battle of Camaro's.

We were missing many of our regulars, including, sadly the "AM" component of the "Can Am Series", who always add more than a pinch of entertainment when they're part of the merry mix. It just ain't quite the same without y'all.
