They're good guys. Greg and Shane can pretty much fix you up with whatever you'll need. They just can't call them Stahl. Lawyers, I guess.

ACP is run by “Stump” which is who built my Stahls years ago. He was Jeres main guy. Basically the same company just different name and no Jere, unfortunately. Stump told me he is going to start making the same design headers that Stahl made for years out of Stainless! Something that Jere simply was against and refused to do.

Hoo Boy! Greg (Stump) will be getting a late-night visit from the ghost of Jere over that!

Kerry Hitt owns the Stahl stuff now, he and Jere were very close. While it is under the umbrella ofKerry's company, ACP, it is most often listed and referred to as "Stahl headers by ACP".

I hadn't heard Greg saying anything about stainless. But Greg told me that he was only building step headers now because they were almost always faster, and it was easier.

Well, crap. My car has not liked any step headers I have tested. Jere looked at the data I had, and told me it wouldn't. Mine only operates in a 2000, or less in bad air, RPM range making a pass.

Greg may still have the fixtures for those. I own all the Chrysler fixtures. The new ones I will be building are bent on the stahl machine. I have greg do all the bends. Jere was a wealth of knowledge, & I don't think I'll ever meet another like him! Stump & Shane are great guys to deal with.
