Default '90 Plymouth Voyager BF/SA info wanted

So I have officially found my project.

Tommorow i am going to go pick up a '90 Voyager. In great shape too. It should be a fun project, and maybe when i'm done i can say i built my own stock eliminator car. Plus it should be just plain comical racing a minivan.

1990 Dodge Caravan 153 C.!./2.5 Liter Turbo 150 h.p./175 NHRA rated H.P.

Not sure if the motor is going to be completely gone through for the first go around. I'll probably make up my mind after a leak down test.

So i thought i'd throw this out here for some brainstorming.....

My goals for this project are to spend as little and do as much of the work myself as possible.

I plan on doing this over the next six months to a year so that there will be ample time to go test & tune.

It's in the garage with a broken transmission. I'm layed off so i probably will not be racing it much, if at all, this season. This van is just something to keep me busy, and have some fun.

Powerglides are cheap. You should be able to find one.

Thats awesome! Terry Ryan who owned Bill Howell's minivan lives in Wa, you should look him up on turbo-mopar.com He's building a Sundance now last I heard from him for class. Here's a video of his not class legal mini:

It has since run an 11.

Bill Howell's turbo-4 minivan was a vehicle that qualified #1 on several different occasions. He's a great guy and would probably love to talk to you about the car. He's a long-time racer and an avid supporter of NHRA Stock Eliminator.

That video is great. I made my way over to turbo-mopar last night and they are very knowledgable. I haven't talked to terry yet but i know he's on the forum and i'm trying really hard to get in touch with him.

Mr. Howell, if you happen to read this please send me a PM i would very much like to speak to you.

Rob Lloyd, who's on here is also a wealth of information on these cars. He actually chipped a computer for my Shadow based off of his stocker's program.
