Default Re: Wireless trailer brake controller

Used the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller when we were towing our Airstream trailer with a Mercedes SUV and didn't want to splice into the wiring harness. Did have one instance of the Remote controller coming unpaired from the vehicle but could have been the finicky Mercedes electronics or a momentary range issue. In any case it's especially nice if you tow with multiple vehicles and liked having the ability to easily touch just the trailer brakes using the hand held remote (as opposed to reaching down to use the traditional hard wired unit). There are additional RF units available now and they get good reviews.
