Re: Trans shifter advice/recommendations
I have had great success for many years with forward an reverse pattern 3- speed Hurst quarter stick shifters with ACD air operated components to assist with the automatic shifting . Last 5 years have updated to the great looking pistol grip Hurst quarter stick .

Re: Trans shifter advice/recommendations
I have used both the Turbo Action shifter and the Hurst Pro Matic 2 ratchet shifter. I like them both.

Re: Trans shifter advice/recommendations
The two best shifters made are Turbo Action for a three speed and Turbo Action for a two speed.

Re: Trans shifter advice/recommendations
A PPP shifter is excellent if you have a clean neutral at the end of the pattern . I don't think I have ever seen a Turbo Action shifter with a clean neutral gate .

Re: Trans shifter advice/recommendations
Mr Holt: because my fat hand attached to my addled brain stuffed my pro trans into second gear at the finish instead of clean neutral....just looking at options to be smarter than me....no luck....so sticking with PPP
Actually I think it would be good if PPP had a gate/block to prevent an accidental movement forward....I need protection from myself |
