To sweeten the pot, several Thunder Valley alumni have stepped up with additional cash bonuses for Saturday's race:

- From Chuck and Barb Koppien: $100 to the 50th qualifier.
- From Jackie Koppien Gorman: $100 to the first driver winning any round with a perfect light or a perfect dial in.
- From Don Breen: $100 to the first round winner with the best light.

Thanks to all of you!

A&A Cycle from Watertown, S.D. has also joined in with some bonus bucks:

-$200 for anyone that wins with a station wagon. There are several good racers with 'wagons at the MCR races, so this could be fun.

Thanks to Rob and the crew at A&A!

Updated info:

The track will be open on Friday at noon for those that want to drop there rigs and head to the Racer's Reunion at Wheelz. For those planning on spending the night, Cherrie from TVD will be there after 6:00pm, so check in with her and take care of the camping fees, etc.

Thanks to Cherrie's son Preston for taking time Friday afternoon to accommodate the racer's.

Great news for racers coming the area just south of the staging lanes ( south of the creek) will be reserved for Stock / Super Stock only. This is a nice shaded area and will be first come first served. Our hospitality tent will also be set up out there. Been hearing from Racers & Alumni from all over the country looks to be a fun ( as well as the huge purse) race. hope to c all at Wheelz in Brandon Friday evening and then at the Races Sat morning.

Long time TVD racer Ron Derochie from Sioux City, Iowa has put up $100 for a Long Distance Award.

Ron's hard running '67 Camaro SS/GA 396/325 is in the final stages of an extensive redo and he's looking forward to rejoining us soon.

Thanks, Ron!

Our projected payout for the 50th race was $20'000 for the 2 days . With all the payouts done and extra money paid out we paid out $ 19'790 for the two days! Thanks again to all the racers and sponsors who helped make this race a success.

MCR, you guys put on a great show, 78 S/SS cars with 7 rounds of fantastic racing...

A special Congrats to Kelly Petterson winning Sunday, I guess when I show up at a race a Koppien car wins...must be in the genes....haha

Anyway, good luck to all of you guys, have a good season, hope to be back again, maybe this year for a race.
