Jim Woods sighting
Team BackMotor was running in Quick-16 at Lakeland, FL and ran across Jim Woods and his driver, in the 'Borrowed Money' car, getting some test laps in. Was great to talk with him, as always That car is incredibly consistent !! Spoke with the new track announcer (didn't catch his name) and he is quite familiar with most all the SSSSA people, including my brother Chris. He even mentions my Bro while I was running, we had a blast, and even made it to the semi-finals Link to video, you can hear him talking about Chris and the SSSSA in the background >>
<< Thanks, BackMotor Mike

Re: Jim Woods sighting
Geez uncle Jim I am just a little younger than you LOL LOL ok so really it has been 36 years but for some reason they wouldn't let me drive till i was 15 .First time down track i was 6 years old pops took me for a run in the 70 hemi cuda he had went 10.74 at 128mph. But the fastest to date i have gone is when i went to Hawleys school and got my alcohol funny car license 5.89 at 255 wow what a blast and my license is still good .Always keep it currant so i can drive just about any thing i want to also still have a dragster license for super elim. thought about going back and upgrading to an alcohol dragster license but just don't like dragsters .

Re: Jim Woods sighting
No problem Sean, so are you the new announcer at Lakeland ?? If so, it was great to meet you Was gonna post the times for the 'Borrowed Money' car of Jim Woods, but the black helicopters started circling the house, perhaps I've said too much already

Re: Jim Woods sighting
Danny - Sean is being VERY gracious with his comments! I haven't laid a wrench on the car yet.
