Default LS motors in Super/Mod

Any reasons why the LS motor would not be legal in Super/Mod? Thinking around 353 cubic inch....power level compared to conventional SB stuff?

It's legal, I think it's the way to go for D thru H. The heads GM has available now appear to be far superior to the old 15 degree. The only downside is the deckheight of the LSX block.

They are a good choice. Talk to Patterson Racing Engines about them. I've seen them working on several.
