Chevy II headers
Other than stainless(no money for that) what are the options? I was told tonight Davis is no longer in business.

Performance Welding, Stahl, Lemons, Hooker, or Hedman.

Re: Chevy II headers
Should have said step headers.
Darrin does perf welding make regular headers? I thought they only built stainless? I have Burns stainless collectors so I only need the headers made.

Re: Chevy II headers
Jere has several different diameters available, and also offers step headers with three diameters (ie 1-7/8" to 2" to 2-1/8"). You cannot go wrong with Stahl headers.

Re: Chevy II headers
Yes, I'm pretty sure he would build them out of steel. If you already have the collectors, I would try to spend the extra money and get stainless. You will be glad you did in the long run.

Re: Chevy II headers
if you have the collectors ,you are looking at around 700.00 in materials (flanges, stainless U bends, short straight pieces ,welding supplys),,,spend the money for the stainless ,one thing they wont rust,2 you dont have to coat them,,,just have to find a local guy thacan do them,,i would take on the job but travel time is a issue gmonde
