Re: Best price on Weld wheels?
How do the Weld front wheels compare to the Gibsons?

Not sure as I am not familiar with the Gibson wheel. The Weld set up is what comes from Ford on these cars, we are building one from a 2012 theft recovery and are getting close to finishing up the fab work on the car and ready to but it back on the ground. RJ |

This is a 6.2# Gibson on my AMX.
Bogart makes the Cobra Jet wheels for Ford. Contact Alex Denysenko @ MoneyMakerRacing.com for a quote.

Re: Best price on Weld wheels?
Weld Racing supplied the wheels for the 2010, 2012, and 2013 Cobra Jets.
RJ, I think Jesse Kershaw has a program to buy the 2013 rears with the Cobra Jet logo if you are interested. |

Re: Best price on Weld wheels?
Yes I saw that, but to me, **1800.00 for two rear wheels and tires is a little much in my book. I'm kind of a tight a**.

Re: Best price on Weld wheels?
Guess I got that wrong....Bogart is making the COPO Camaro wheels. I believe Bogart made the first couple of years for the CJ?

Greg
Thanks for your support buddy, hope all is well in the bayou city. Emmitt had a Memorial Day Race Car sale and sold off about a 1/2 dozen race cars, so he only has about 12 or 13 left to liquidate, he figured it would only cost him around **8 or **9 thousand to put new tires, batteries and update his belts and chassis certifications. thanks for all the info from everyone RJ |
