If you race your 10 second Stocker at a local track in brackets or test and tune the rule book says a trans shield is required. Before Stockers needed SFI Jackets that was also required.
Depending on where you go to race.....you might get asked if you have one. Or Not....LOL

Safety rules should be predicated on a car's E.T., MPH, and chassis type/construction only. Why would safety requirements change based on the decals on the window?

Thanks for the clarification everybody. I went ahead and purchased one but getting this thing to fit with the trans tunnel, torque arm, tranny cooler line fittings, etc. Is proving quite difficult. Def would like to run one if I can make it work. Thx for all the input
