Re: SS classes/Sheet Metal Intakes
This is and old thread that i found,,,
We have bean working on MANY diffrent style off six pack manifolds for the last 3,5 - 4 years for the Mopar big block. Everything from Edelbrock stock, Weiand ,Indy bottoms with diffrent tops, CFE sheet metals. We have take every intake to the max with modifikations, different tops , plenum volyms and carb tunings. We find out alott and start to make oer own sheet metal intake and did it in a different style that many " experts" says. This intake shall be fast at the track, that was the number one thing and make moore power over a wide rpm range. After over 100 dynotestes we now have a intake that do that , and raise the peak allso. It makes over 40 hp moore than the Weiand, and moore that 20 hp over the experts CFE ( 26 average hp). The pros Sheet metal intakes was NOT faster at the track, bad trottle respons and 60 feet time. This is on a 440 cu Six pack Super Stock engines, that fits under the hood. I dont know if i can put in a picture heir , we see. Thanks Peter PPM Racing. |
