Default Wally's Steakhouse

"Pretty soon though, a number of other restaurants – let’s call them Pete and Kyle’s, Jared’s, Franklin’s, Kyle’s – okay so maybe we were supposed to change the names – opened up."

Didn't "the bank" just pull back some of Wally's 'loans'?

Good article , Johnny.

I don't mean to sound negative here, and not give credit to where it's due, but this is an
unusual year . I know a couple of guys who went to the C/R event because they hadn't raced much this year. If there were a full assortment of NHRA events in Div. 1 this year, it's hard to say how well an independent race would do, sandwiched in between them.
I believe the lure of the Wally is still very real and still out there.

I believe the lure of the Wally is still there but, also if a race is put on correctly and the racer feels wanted it may swing their decision in the following years, are you going to convert everyone...nope but, if Ken & Tim decide to do a 2021 version, many people may say, instead of doing 4 Nationals this year, I'm going to do 3 and the Class Racer Nationals instead, we heard about it being such a good time and how losing 1st or 2nd round you still went home with something. It's been 2 weeks since the .90 Nationals the amount of e-mails and facebook messages I got from people that loved it is outstanding to the point I want to do another one in 2021. I think you give Ken & Tim a year to work on it along with myself and that event may just become the new "Flings" for the sportsman racers.

For anyone not familiar with how Wally started his “steakhouse” they really need to tour the museum in Pomona. Not withstanding his differences with two of my heroes (Big and Mad Dog) we all owe him a big debt.

No mention of Wally's sanctioned insurance?
