My cylinder walls, bearings, and Intake pushrods ends do as well as anything I have used. I will keep using it, thanks. With 1015 lbs open pressure and 1.8-1 rockers, not all oil I have used has done as well. Ron says it's cheap Chinese crap. :-)
I use 10W30 @ 40 psi.
Ed, I didn't say it was cheap Chinese crap. My thought is this price seems so good that it might be a knock off of genuine Valvoline oil. I used to use Valvoline for a very long time and my complaint about it was the amount of moly residue in the engine when tearing it down. I talked to a Valvoline tech and he told me that they liked lots of moly in their oil. At the time I was running straight 40. I'm ready to try the 10-30 Valvoline or maybe Schaffer.

VR1 used to be relatively cheap, and then seems like about 5 years ago the price doubled.

Im getting 10w30 Brad Penn for about $55/12 pack.

I never had an issue with VR1....same with Brad Penn. Just dont understand why the price jumped.

Also, I run a 51061R WIX which the local oreilly stocks.
