Default Headers

I need to have a new set of step headers built for a SBC (327 & 350 combinations) for a 1992 Super Stock GT/GA Camaro.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Located in Langhorne, PA area.

Thank you!

Kev

Hi Kevin,
I;m not sure where you are located, but if your in the OHIO area, I would recommend KromerKraft. You did not mention the make of the vehicle.

I bought my header material and collectors from Mark @ Performance Welding. I then had Larry Larson in KC, MO build my headers to the specs supplied by Mark. Obviously, KC is too far but having Mark help someone local build them to his specs would be a wise investment.

Might think about Jere Stahl. He just picked my car up a little.

Kevin is Beco still around your area? He made great headers in the day.

I'd have to agree with Ed, Stahl would be a good choice in a custom-made racing header.

Hate to be the cheap sob here, but Hooker makes a header for that application. Its what I have on my car (1992 Camaro 350/255/294). Granted Im not real fast, but thats not because of the headers.... They are 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" to 2" step headers. There is a badge on them "Hooker SuperCompetition Headers" don't think there is a part number, but I'll go look in a bit...

If it's allowed in super stock, use the half inch header plates, matched perfectly to your exhaust ports, and the exhaust will pick up 10, to 20 cfm. Then use 1 and 7\8" to 2." Just my opinion.
