"Live" from Louisville, KY combo race
Well, it is a beautiful morning here at Ohio Valley Dragway! It is really going to be a hot day. It is already hot out there. Gates open at 11, time trials at 2, racing at 7. There are usually 35 or so cars here. We are saving a spot for Andrew Hill and his dad Greg. I will try to get some pics later today since I have a better connection here and it doesn't take so long to load them.
More later. Patsy |

Re: "Live" from Louisville, KY combo race
Well they started early here. We just made our 2nd run of the afternoon. It is 98 degrees and HOT! DA was 3151. 20 something cars made that run. I couldn't get back to the motorhome and the AC quick enough. Please tell me the weather will be better out West!!!
Oh, Greg and Andrew didn't make it out here. They had an issue with the motorhome and trailer becoming unattached!! I think everything is ok except for the hitch at both ends. More later. |

Patsy,,,, The weather WILL be better out west! It was a scorching 72 degrees out here today at Bremerton Raceway,,,about an hour away from the track at Seattle. Kinda warm for us wussies out here, but I'm sure its comfortable by your standards.
Enjoy the trip out......................Danny Durham |

Boy that 72 sounds good, Danny.
We got beat by Donnie Fuller 1st round by .0002. By then the temperature had fallen to 96 and Buddy Hughes told Larry "Hey, they have 1st round buybacks" Larry said "No thanks" and we headed home. Got here about 11 last night. So now we will go out and get everything ready to go out west. If anybody knows who won last night, please post. I know there were a lot of Morris's still left! |

Donna Morris won over Matt Morris in the final. The semi-finalist was Nick Morris, what else is new? :P Congrats to them!
