Default Bret Speer's Nova

The Nova that Bret Speer drove at St Louis was that Koppian's old car? Is that a 70 or 69 Nova? Was not that for sale? That car is pretty quick, is that a 396/375 or 402/396. Any insights would be appreciated.

Yes, Bret was driving the Koppien's Nova. It was for sale a while back. I'm not sure what is in the car now. I talked to Steve and Mike several times, but not about the Nova. The car has always been quick, those guys don't own any slugs. The only thing that slowed Mike down was traction issues, he may have actually been the fastest car in AA last weekend.

They were running it as a '70 and it has a 402/375 in it. As Alan said, Steve has no slugs in his barn.

Hey Al, if you want to know who that Bwheat guy is, you once went to Pomona with him?????

OK, as for Koppien, Steve still has another Nova & another Camero in his shop, both race ready, I want to shoe one, but Mike says I am too old, color blind, and he thinks my legs won't reach the pedals, but Mike, just remember 'Green side up'

Al--I believe someone has confused you--I live with my grandpa in orange county--I did have a 55 chevy that I raced and rolled in a derby many years ago--I now own a 1965 chevy wagon which runs in IHRA and holds some kind of a record--
