Question header collectors?

what do you guys like better.....4 into 2 into 1 or a magaphone?

It depends. Not the answer you wanted, but the honest answer. And you get get the 4-2-1 in a megaphone style as well. Every individual combination is different, you can't really just say one is better than the other. I think that the 4-2-1 headers are more touchy with regards to the combination and tune up. The regular megaphone merge doesn't seem to be.

Thanks Alan. The car has the 4-2-1 on it now (and their in bad shape) . The rest of the headers look good so was thinking of putting on new collectors.....& wasn't sure witch one was best...

Greg, IF the car ran well with the 4-2-1 collectors, then by all means get another set. Don't mess with a good combination unless you know what you're going to do will work.

There is a program called PipeMax, by a racer named Larry Meaux, that will tell you what your engine needs, it is VERY accurate, as accurate as anything short of hardcore testing.
