34 ft 5th Wheel enclosed Trailer... Fiberglass ?
I'm looking at making a deal on a 2002 34 ft enclosed trailer, that the guy says is fiberglass.
I thought the outside was almost always aluminum ? Never heard of using fiberglass ? Can anybody share their opinion on this ? Good ? Bad ? It's a long distance deal, so I want to make up my mind, before the seller and I, each travel over 1000 miles !

Re: 34 ft 5th Wheel enclosed Trailer... Fiberglass ?
some trailers are built with frp panels (fiberglass re-enforced panels) always seemed kinda heavy looking and not very smooth. kinda like an old canoe LOL. don't know of any real problems with them , as long as it hasn't started to de-laminate like older motorhomes do. hope this helps.

Great info, Mark !
I think I understand better now. The trailer seems like a pretty good deal, but if that's because fiberglass is a problem, I know I can't afford it.
