All the Division 2 Opens are 1/8th. That makes it easier to complete them in one day.

How does running 1/8 mile make it easier to complete? Do you mean it takes less time to complete?

We race at a 1/4 mile track where about half the categories are run as 1/8 mile races. In those 1/8 mile races most of the competitors let off at the 1/8 and COAST all the way to the last turnout. It takes more time than if the race were run as a 1/4 mile race. The reasoning escapes me...

Had a great time just watching. Made some new friends. Thanks to Mike and Emily Volkman for their hospitality.

It is completed quicker for a couple reasons. 1st, cannot reset timers, setup dialins until both cars complete their run. 2nd is burnouts start quicker, cars stage quicker. It might not seam like much time but when you add it up 300 times in a day, becomes a lot of time
